Diaper FREE - Oh yes (3 years old)

Wohooo this is a milestone for Tromson - diaper FREE
It's the best gift of the year from Tromson that he's free from diaper day and night.
It took around 6 months on and off to train him to pee and poo in the toilet.
This time round, instead of using training pants, mommy's using diapers but always remind him every hour to pee in the toilet
Sometimes he remembers, sometimes he forgets, until one day his diaper is dry and he himself goes to the toilet to pee
And it's the same for night time, when his diaper is dry, I know that he's ready to take off the diaper forever

The challenge come when he wants to poo.
He has the habit to hide in the store room for poo, eventhough I have brainwashed him to poo in the toilet like koko but between the brain and the habit, they don't synchronise

Until one day, he said he wanted to poo and I ask him to poo in the toilet.
Voila, he made it for the first time and felt proud to break the habit and now it's easy peasy
wherever we go, when he wants to pee or poo, he will tell us and do it in the toilet

Well done Tromson, so proud of you !

Toilet Training in progress - 2.5 yo

Wohoo, his toilet training progress is good.
Eventhough he's unable to say pee before he's going to pee but he can hold now and when I ask him to pee in the toilet, he will take off his brief and pee in the toilet
These two days, his pants / diapers is dry from morning to evening and even during afternoon nap

So proud of you boy, few more steps for diaperfree :)

Toilet training in progress

Finally after long holiday, Toilet training starts all over again.
He will wear training pants from morning to afternoon before nap time
So far eventhough he can't tell me yet if he wants to pee, he follows instruction when I ask him to pee

Of course there's accident here and there but the progress is pretty good

Keep it up boy !

Toilet Training trial (25 mos) - 15 Sep 2015

Today, we start toilet training for Tromson. I bought training pants from Mothercare that I have used before for koko Richie.
The first morning is going well, when I ask him to pee, he will pee in the toilet
but after lunch, it's too late, he poop and pee in the pants :P

Then, during nap time, I give him diapers instead. After dinner, I plan to ask him to pee after washing the dishes but it's too late, he already pee in the pants :P

Never mind, we try again tomorrow !
