Stomach Flu

Last week, Tromson was down with stomach flu. Out of sudden, he fell sick on Tuesday evening. He had no appetite and threw up at night and he had high fever too.
The next day, he was so lethargic, no appetite at all and threw up the milk.
He felt better on Friday, when he showed some appetites and no more vomiting. I thought it was over but the diarrhoea came after dinner.

He ate fish soup and right after meal, he passed the loose stools until his diaper couldn't hold it.
Fortunately, he still had appetite, so he survived on biscuits and snacks.
The night sleep became nightmare, 'cos he's very hungry since I didn't give him milk yet until he recovered well.

On Sunday, thanks God, he's doing very well. I gave him milk and no more vomit and diarrhoea. His appetite was also back.
Today, his stools are also back to normal.

Ear Infections

After having been on and off from common cold : runny nose and coughing, Tromson was down with ear infection last Tuesday.
The night before that he was restless and cranky, he couldn't sleep well at night and had high fever
Fortunately we brought him to the doctor the next day and since Dr. Ratna was on leave, we were attended by Dr. Nancy Tan

And she diagnosed Tromson with ear infections due to the long period of flu.
There's no other option than taking antibiotic. So this is the first time for Tromson eating Antibiotic augmentine and she gave him probiotic too to prevent diarrhoea

Thanks God after eating one dose antibiotic, the fever was subsided and he could sleep well and those runny nose was gone

We will see doctor again this coming Tuesday to make sure everything is alright and back to normal

Poor baby

 My poor baby after being on off getting sick, he's now down with high fever.

Hopefully it's nothing serious and he can recover soon.

Miracle happens when you believe :)

After some sleepless night, finally mommy can catch some good sleeps
Mommy wants to share this testimony.
We had weekly family prayer as usual yesterday then after praying for Tromson and koko Richie's health, mommy was reminded of holy water from Lourdes therefore mommy put the cross sign to Tromson forehead, nose and throat and said a little prayer.

During the night, mommy could see much improvements from the night before. Even though mommy need to carry him here and there but it's only a while and he could sleep well until 9am.

After waking up, his nose was flooded with mucus hehe but mommy could see how much better he is today.
He can nap well in the afternoon with only fan and he's starting to eat food again eventhough it's still small portion.

Mommy believes in the miracle. What it has done to koko Richie 3 years ago, it happens again.

Mommy believes tromson will be recovering in no time and he will have good appetite back again.

Sick again combo teething....:(

This is the third time Tromson falls sick. He caught flu bug since Wednesday morning.
At first he coughed with phleghm then on friday morning, he started developing fever and running nose.
Mommy already gave him ventolin puff, singulair, mucosolvan and rhinarhimine. Today he has no more fever but the running nose and cough still there. My poor boy !

Besides, his bottom right incissor has erupted as well therefore what's the right time !
He has no appetite besides milk but since he has blocked nose, he can't drink milk peacefully too

Hopefully he recovers soon just in time before his birthday

This morning, when mommy brings Tromson to GP downstairs, she said that no more wheezing
only left with phlegm at upper respiratory part.
She said just continue with ventolin puff 3x a day and singulair at night and mucosolvan
The best part is it's free of charge

Mommy and daddy, Tromson will recover soon

Power puff

 Last Thursday, Tromson visited Children's emergency at NUH for the first time.

His coughing was pretty bad, the wheezing could be heard so clearly. Afraid that he's not sleeping well, mommy and daddy brought him to children's emergency at 8.30pm.

The PD who attended us told mommy that his airway was inflamed therefore he breathed hard.

She suggested to use ventolin inhaler for 3 times, with 15mins interval 3 puffs.

After 3rd round, she checked and his airway starts opening up

 

We spent around 4 hours there, and came back home very late.

Luckily, he can sleep well and mommy and daddy can too.

 

The next day, mommy brought him to his PD,  Dr. Ratna and she mentioned that she has the chance to have asthma in the future if he's wheezing again for the third time.

She told mommy to use ventolin inhaler straight away the moment he's coughing in the future.

 

In the meantime, mommy's using ventolin inhaler puff, singulair, mucosolvan. Hopefully, he recovers soon.

Sick again haishh

On monday night, tromson started coughing and yesterday night he couldn't sleep well
Today when mommy brings him to GP, he has wheezing, mommy needs to give him ventolin and singulair

Nebulizer ...

Finally, Tromson has been in nebulizer for 4 days. Luckily, he's so calm when mommy put the mask on.

Thanks God, his cough and running nose have over.

It's one of my mommy's bday wish which is having healthy family before mom's bday

 

 

Sick again

Tromson just recovered from runny nose and coughing but only few days he caught the virus again from koko Richie
And this time round papa and koko are both down to sick, only mommy survives

Mommy has been a zombie for 4 days in row when Tromson was uncomfort at night, especially blocked nose attacked

So far mommy didn't give any medicine but tomorrow mommy's going to bring him to PD for check up and ask medicine for standby

Hopefully all boys are getting well soon before mommy's bday
Which is one of mommy's bday wishes

 

And during this time, both boys are still making good laughter

 

 

Haze sigh ...

This few days the haze has came back and it's getting worse at night
So koko Richie has down with running nose then daddy, mommy almost got it too with discomfort throat and eyes and last but not least is Tromson

He has mild fever 3 days ago, not sure whether it's due to virus or teething
Cos it's a day only and only 37.8 deg c Last night he started coughing and a little bit running nose
Luckily he still able to nurse and eat even though not so much

He now likes to drink plain water using srynge yeeaahhh

First time having mild fever (13 feb 2014)

Yesterday afternoon after napping, mommy played keyboard with Tromson and felt that his forehead was warm and he's so sleepy
Then mommy measured his body temperature and it was 37.7 deg
He had mild fever

At first mommy didn't want to give paracetamol yet and prefered breastfeed him
But until 5.30 pm his fever never came down therefore mommy gave him 1.5 ml paracetamol and his fever subsided

Ard midnite, his fever increased again to 38 deg, which still considered mild and mommy gave 1.8 cc paracetamol and lots of breastmilk

After 8 hours, his fever peak was ard 37.7 deg and another dose of paracetamol was given. Hopefully it was the last dose paracetamol, he was still active as usual

Mommy guessing it may be due to teething

Regular check up 4 mos 4 days

Today, Tromson's having regular check up and jab
Eventhough he has cough but the doctor still go ahead with scheduled vaccination. His cough is caused by mild viral and it will be gone by itself after few days.

His weight : 8.85kg
Length : 65cm
Head circumference : 43cm

His measurement is still above average though, other skills like fine and gross motoric have been doing pretty well

Another unfeeling well ( 3 mos 3 weeks )

Almost 4 mos Tromson wasn't feeling well starting from Monday afternoon.
After he slept at koko Richie's bedroom with aircon, then he developed blocked nose, and yesterday evening he started coughing.
Today, mommy brought him to see GP downstairs and he said that it's just mild viral infection, nothing to worry about.
Just continue breastfeeding and he gave nose drop only

Oh ya btw, his weight is 8.51 kg

First time almost catch cold...

Phew...mommy was worried when koko Richie catched the cold bug from school
'Cos mommy and daddy also catched the bug from him afterwards and Tromson was the most vulnerable one
Mommy tried to separate koko and Tromson but it's difficult to watch over them 24/7 without getting close to each other.
So mommy just boost breastmilk with lots of fluid, fruits and vit C, hopefully Tromson has good immunity to fight the virus

The first night he catched the bug, he couldn't sleep well 'cos of blocked nose
But the second and third night he seemed improve well and can sleep soundly.
Phew....

While they are sick, they still play together and entertain each other
