Happy 12th Birthday, Tromson !

We celebrated Tromson’s birthday in the midst of PSLE preparation — and despite the busy season, we had a truly meaningful and joyful day together.

The day began with back-to-back Sunday Masses, as Mama needed to attend the Commissioning Mass for the Communion Ministry. Afterwards, we treated ourselves to a late lunch at Yakiniku Like — it’s been a while since we enjoyed something a little more "special" in Singapore, hehe…

For dinner, Tromson had a McDonald's treat — a rare occasion, as we usually reserve fast food for special celebrations. We ended the day with a simple candle-blowing moment at home and a family movie night watching The Book of Daniel.

Happy blessed birthday, Tromson. May your heart always remain pure, and may God guide you with His wisdom.

We pray that God grants the desires of your heart — especially your wish to enter your dream secondary school — and that He strengthens you as you prepare for PSLE.

Happy 11th Birthday Tromson !

Tromson is turning 11 and is entering puberty, a time when hormones and emotions start to intensify, and he's beginning to assert his independence and challenge boundaries.

He's developing his own perspective and is more inclined to argue when asked to do things. It's a normal part of growing up, and we're hoping this phase will be brief.

Today, we celebrated his birthday with a hike at Bukit Timah in the morning, followed by lunch at HaiDiLao and a Minions movie at the cinema. It was a fulfilling day!

Birthday present story

Tromson has been eyeing for drone since last year for his birthday present and finally he received it during his 10th birthday.

He's very delighted receiving something that he's been waiting for and he loves to play it with the sibling.

One day, when he played drone with his sibling, koko Richie wanted to test if the apps worked to control the drone. Unfortunately, when the drone flew high, koko Richie couldn't control it and it stuck  in the tree and nobody could get it because it's too high.

And it's been left there for almost 2 weeks until mama comes to the rescue. After mama came back from business trip, she analysed the situation and finally reached out to the cleaner which was cleaning up the bins.

The cleaner was very nice and he helped to find the tool that's long enough to pick up the drone from the tree.

And ta-da, it's been successful but mama forgot to take video and picture during the process of rescuing the toy.

Nevertheless, mama took a picture with the cleaner who has been kind enough to provide assistance to pick up the toy.

Tromson was very exhilarated when he got the drone back.

Happy 10th Birthday Tromson !

Last Thursday we celebrated our second born son's birthday. He's turning 10 years old this year.

He's the most kindest and generous boy that we ever seen, never fails us with his lame joke, self discipline, independent and his thoughtfulness.

He teaches us how to be contented with what we have and share generously to others and he shows the example by buying some snacks and sweets for his classmates.

He never raises voices to us or anyone and prefers to keep it in his heart when he's sad or unhappy. 

We are so grateful and feel so blessed having him in our life and we pray to God so He will always guide your path, guard your heart and bless you abundantly in your study and life. 

May you be the light in the darkness and become a blessing for others.

We had simple dinner celebration at Yakiniku-Like, his choice of restaurant.

Happy Birthday Tromson !

It's your last single digit birthday before going to pre-teen years. Tromson is the most cool boy who has generous heart. He prefers giving to receiving. He bought oreo for his classmates and wants to celebrate his birthday with his close friends.

On his born day, we celebrated it with our close family at Haidilao and opa oma came from Indonesia special to celebrate Tromson and papa's birthday.

Happy 8th Birthday Tromson !

We give thanks to God for sending Tromson to our family. He's such a kind and generous boy I ever met.

He always put others above himself and has a big, kind and generous heart. He always grateful and contented with what he has. He seldom asks us to buy something for him. 

When he buys snack, he always buys for three.

When his favorite food is left with one, he is willingly to give to his brothers and makes an excuse that he's full.

When his clothes are left with 5 pcs, and I offer to buy new ones, he says don't need, he has enough.

We really learn a lot from him and he reminds us of who God is who always be generous with us.

On his birthday, I ask him what he wants to celebrate his birthday. He wants to invite his friends, however since this lockdown we can't invite more than 2 persons, he said that he wants to invite ii Intan.

For the cake, he chooses strawberry cheese cake, and McDonald for lunch and sushi take out for dinner.

Happy 7th Birthday Tromson !

This year due to covid-19, we celebrated Tromson Birthday at home, inviting our family and close friends.

Our good housekeeper cooked nasi uduk and its companions.

It's such a happy occasion when everyone caught up with each others and it's good to hear that they were doing great despite the pandemic.
