First time riding kiddy ride

While mommy's having lunch with friends, papa took care tromson and koko at vivocity
Then koko and tromson were playing kiddy ride

Finally pheww he can crawl now, mommy caught the act when he wakes up and wants to catch the toys

First trip to Batam by boat (24 May 2014)

This is the second overseas trip for Tromson and first trip to Indonesia specifically Batam island by boat. We bought the 2D1N package from Groupon and stayed at Mercure Hotel
The total cost is around S$300 for 4 pax inclusive dining and shopping

Overall, we enjoy the food but not so much in city tour and environment.
Cigarette smokes here and there make uncomfortable for us
The city tour itself was very tiring, we went to many fashion outlets and cake and chocolate shops which are more expensive. Perhaps it targeted Singaporean tourists.
If we get chance in the future, we prefer to stay in Harris hotel and spend the day enjoying and relaxing at the hotel

Mercure hotel location is not so bad, but the room we stay is not so comfortable, the bathtub is leaking here and there. The breakfast spread is also so - so and nothing much to see in the hotel.
koko Richie and tromson can't wait to go back to Singapore after we arrived at hotel in late afternoon.

Indeed, kids know the best in terms of quality of life.

6am - everybody woke up with excitement
6.45am - we went to Harbourfront Center by car
7.05am - arrived at Harbourfront
7.15am - queue for the boarding pass
7.30am - queue for immigration and boarding
8.00am - here we sail
8.30am (batam time) - we arrived at Batam Center
9.00am - we were greeted by our Travel guide
9.00 - 9.30 am - waiting in the bus ( wasted time )
9.30 - 12pm - we went to Polo factory outlet, massage time (since we didn't go for massage, they dropped us at batik and another factory outlet ) but we went to nearby mall for quick lunch especially for Tromson and koko Richie
12 - 1.30 pm - we went to batam lapis cake factory, dry market and birdnest shop and lunch at golden prawn 933 restaurant
The meals also so - so, we still prefer zhi char at Singapore hawker though
2.30 - 3.00 pm - we went to Go kart, another factory outlet and Indonesia miniature as well as bika and otak2 shop. We bought half bika ambon since it's nice and fresh from the kitchen
3.00 - 5.00 pm - we went to chocolate factory and batik and factory outlet)
5.00 - 5.45pm - We went to BCS mall for take away dinner
5.45 - 7pm - we were sent back to hotel one by one ( wasted time )
7pm - We checked in and tired
7 - 9 pm We had dinner and shower in the room
9 pm  Good night sleep

6.30 am - everybody wakes up
7.00 - 8.00 am - take shower
8.00 - 9.00 am - breakfast
10.00 - 11.30am - we went to Nagoya hill mall
11.45am - arrived back at the hotel and checked out
12.30 pm - we were picked up and sent to Batam center ferry terminal
13.15 - 14.30 pm - We went to Mega mall (opp ferry terminal ) for lunch
15.00 pm Immigration and boarding
16.10pm - we sailed back to Singapore
18.00 - we arrived safely at  Singapore

This morning, when mommy brings Tromson to GP downstairs, she said that no more wheezing
only left with phlegm at upper respiratory part.
She said just continue with ventolin puff 3x a day and singulair at night and mucosolvan
The best part is it's free of charge

Mommy and daddy, Tromson will recover soon

Power puff

 Last Thursday, Tromson visited Children's emergency at NUH for the first time.

His coughing was pretty bad, the wheezing could be heard so clearly. Afraid that he's not sleeping well, mommy and daddy brought him to children's emergency at 8.30pm.

The PD who attended us told mommy that his airway was inflamed therefore he breathed hard.

She suggested to use ventolin inhaler for 3 times, with 15mins interval 3 puffs.

After 3rd round, she checked and his airway starts opening up

 

We spent around 4 hours there, and came back home very late.

Luckily, he can sleep well and mommy and daddy can too.

 

The next day, mommy brought him to his PD,  Dr. Ratna and she mentioned that she has the chance to have asthma in the future if he's wheezing again for the third time.

She told mommy to use ventolin inhaler straight away the moment he's coughing in the future.

 

In the meantime, mommy's using ventolin inhaler puff, singulair, mucosolvan. Hopefully, he recovers soon.

On monday night, tromson started coughing and yesterday night he couldn't sleep well
Today when mommy brings him to GP, he has wheezing, mommy needs to give him ventolin and singulair

Mommy tried him face in float
He's not terrified at all
He can do for few seconds with face in the water

Visit Tulip Mania @ Garden by the bay (3 May 2014)

It was the first time for Tromson visiting Tulip Garden. He's pretty excited to see the flowers.
Since Papa was going for retreat and koko Richie is at Yew Tee with oma and opa, mommy and Tromson are going to MBS alone by MRT. He's so excited to see many people and this is the second ride for Tromson too.
